Students 2 Science for Hillside High School!

On 10/20/2026 our Hillside High School students recently participated in the Students 2 Science’s @students_2_science Allied Health Day program. They stepped into the shoes of frontline medical professionals during a realistic emergency room simulation.
• As Medical Laboratory Scientists: They ran critical hematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, and toxicology tests.
• As Physicians: They interpreted complex patient charts, built diagnoses, and presented their findings to their peers.
Experiences like this build essential clinical reasoning, hands-on lab skills, and teamwork while introducing students to the many career opportunities in the fast-growing healthcare industry.
Shout out to Hillside High School science teachers Mrs. Desanto, Mrs. Duran, and Mrs. Williams and Supervisor of Secondary Stem Dr. Kumar alongside the Students 2 Science team for coordinating this valuable experience for our students!
