Hillside High School

This past Monday, December 9th, the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest took 45 high school students, along with Ms. Agoglia, Mr. Colon, Mr. Gelowitz, and Ms. Ullrich to Washington, D.C. to visit the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, the Lincoln Memorial, and the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial. In addition to speaking with the daughter/granddaughter of Holocaust survivors,  a select few were even given an opportunity to meet and talk with a survivor from Auschwitz and may be featured on an NBC special commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. Students were able to learn and discuss antisemitism then and now and compare it to the racial discrimination during Dr. King's time and now.
